Movie DVD to have Deleted Scenes After All?

Although there has been no previous mention of it on pre-order sites and press releases and director Michael Bay stating no added scenes from the IMAX version of the movie will be on any DVD release, it looks possible that more extras may find their way onto the home releases. TheTransformers.net is reporting that BBFC (who rate all DVD material in the United Kingdom) has reviewed all of the content on Disc 2 of the Transformers 2-disc DVD to be released in the UK in December. The BBFC page site mentions all of the reviewed items, including easter eggs and reveals another unannounced featurette (Casting Mojo). However, the big surprise is the listing of the ten deleted scenes. Currently, there is no verificaiton that the deleted scenes or any unconfirmed extras will be on the worldwide DVD releases over the next few months. Given that Paramount went through the trouble of getting this material rated, however, is a good sign that at least some countries may receive these extras.
